Rally to Haslar Marina 18/19 July 

Weather looking great, sunny with a cooler Northerly wind. Seven boats left ECSC about 11 am and headed towards Gosport. 

Barry in Baz1, Shaun in Get Reel, Tim in Norm, Mike in Kaikoura, Tom and Julia in Who jata, Torsten and Linda in Tideline and Tony going for the day in Holly. 

On arriving at Haslar after about 90 minutes, we were told we had no bookings, despite me sending loads of emails. 

They fitted us in anyway, although a bit spread out. We explained, when we paid and we're informed that the contact had not passed information on, when he went on holiday. 

After a sandwich for lunch, Tim and Shaun explored the local pub, others went for a walk and others had a sleep. 

We walked up to the Lightship about 6 pm for an early pint and had a great view on the top deck. The food was great and some of had starters and deserts as well as the main. 

Back to our boats for an early start, some going fishing and some going back with the tide. 

In the end a great time had by all.
