Dear members,

I am pleased to share with you all that our second beer and social event that was held on Friday the 25th of February was far better attended than our first held on Friday the 28th of January with double the amount of members attending with a total of 16. This number is still lower than the numbers we would call a successful event but is a clear indicator that word is getting out and drawing more members to each event we hold.

We had a great evening together which was enjoyed by all who attended which i must say were a very sociable bunch especially after “blowing the froth off of a couple”. We were joined by Peter’s family including the children who were very well behaved and were enjoying a good game of top trumps in the lounge corner whilst us adults were left to natter and have a good laugh.

Overall it was a very enjoyable evening and we are really hoping that the numbers of members attending our events continues to rise. Thank you all for your continued support towards the club and the rebuilding of our social bond.
