East Cowes Sailing Club is located in Clarence Road, East Cowes, just 200m or so south of the Floating Bridge.

The Club caters for a wide range of boats and boating activities, including a Fishing section. Members’ dinghies can be stored on the Club premises (indoor or outdoor, depending on available space in the stores); larger boats on fore-and-aft tidal moorings just offshore from the Club and on tidal “finger” berths on the main pontoon (at the discretion of the Stores Officer). The end of the pontoon is accessible by water at all states of tide and all moorings are visible from the clubhouse with webcams accessible to members only for security (click on the Facilities page to see photos and videos of the clubhouse and moorings).  We also have a Dinghy park on the East Cowes Esplanade, with free parking adjacent to it.

East Cowes Sailing Club is looked upon as a working club as well as the social aspect. The Club runs Thursday evening racing during the spring and summer months. The classes of racing include Dinghy, Handicap Cruisers, (spinnaker / non spinnaker Classes). Membership and Storage Fees are very competitive indeed, probably one of the lowest in the South of England.

The Club has a Members room for social and training purposes but does not have a bar in order to keep costs to a minimum. Maintenance of the premises is often carried out by the membership itself, under the direction of the Committee. See the Membership Information page for joining instructions and an application form.
