In case you missed it, the AGM changed the rule requiring every full member to do 10 hours voluntary work on behalf of the Club. Instead of this being required every year, the AGM can now vote to decide if members have to do their duty hours or not. For 2023 (and may be subsequently) you are NOT being asked to do any duty hours! If you have already paid the duty hours waiver, you will be receiving a refund in due course.

However, this doesn’t mean we can all forget about maintaining the Club. Instead, we will periodically ask for help with specific maintenance jobs – so your help is still needed. If we fail to get support for this approach, naturally we may have to recommend to the AGM that the duty hour requirement be reintroduced. It’s still true to say your club needs you!
