The committee has agreed a modest increase in our membership and mooring fees. This has been kept to significantly less than inflation to keep cost increases to a minimum. All new fees for moorings and storage can now be found on the Store page in the Members Area.
As you may have seen, we have been working on a document to clarify and define the different roles and responsibilities within the committee. If you’d like to be on the East Cowes Sailing Club committee there is now a nomination form on the noticeboard in the clubhouse. As you may well have heard, we are having to restrict the number of people who can similtaneously be in the first floor of the middle store. There are a number dinghies on club premises (East Cowes Esplanade Boat Park and the main club boatyard) that appear to have been abandoned. Hi everyone Al Blenkinsop contacted me this morning to report that a bolt had worked itself loose on the hammerhead during the storm.
